Support our Trust's conservation efforts by joining our Nest Box Adopt a Box Sponsorship scheme - providing essential homes and assistance for our precious birds of prey and owls.
This sponsorship makes an excellent present for any occasion - Christmas, Birthdays, Valentine's Day or just because - suitable for all ages, including yourself! We maintain nest boxes across various regions of the country, allowing you to sponsor a box in any of seven areas whilst selecting your preferred bird species.
We install boxes for Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Little Owl, Kestrel and Peregrine. The construction, supervision, upkeep and replacement of weathered boxes requires funding. Your sponsorship directly contributes to these magnificent birds' survival.
Your package includes:
- Yearly report detailing whats happening in the area your box is located.
- Custom sponsorship certificate.
- Greeting card with your message.
- Comprehensive guide to British Owls and pellet identification, or British raptor identification guide, based on your chosen species.
- Nest Box Newsletter.
- Interesting fact: Research shows that approximately 80% of Barn Owl couples now nest in provided boxes.
The scheme also supports our licensed wildlife Conservation Officers who conduct regular monitoring of these nest boxes during breeding periods, ensuring they remain safe nesting sites for owls and raptors and provide conservation advice to the landowners.
