Norwich Cathedral Peregrines Activity Log 10/07/2019

While there wasn't much activity today, the peregrines still put on a good show throughout the morning.

Weather was overcast and drizzle in the morning, which gave way to sunny spells in the afternoon.

10.00 A juvenile is 3 down from the top on the South of the spire.

10.25 GA appears 4 down from the South plucking window briefly, before flying North West.

10.30 Male does a food pass with a juvenile who lands 5 down from the South plucking window. The male lands 2 down from top on the West side. The juvenile then lands on the nest box with the prey to eat.

10.47 Male flies around on patrol and lands 3 down on the West side.

10.49 GA lands on the golden bales with prey.

11.05 Juvenile on the nest box knocks the male off his crocket. The male then lands on the nest box. The juvenile then lands 3 down on the South side.

11.25 Male flies off.

11.40 Juvenile flies off.

12.10 GA disappears from sight.

12.17 GA lands on the golden bales with prey and starts plucking it.

12.24 Male lands 2 down on the East side.

12.42 Male flies off.

12.50 GA lands 2 down on the East side and stays there for the entire afternoon.

13.00 Male flies to the East.

13.03 Male returns and lands on the golden bales.

13.07 Male takes plucked prey to the North plucking window.

14.16 Juvenile lands on the golden bales.
