Norwich Cathedral Peregrines Activity Log 25/06/2019

Another day at the watch point, with lots of flying action from our peregrines! Weather was rainy to start and then improved with sunny spells.

9.45 One juvenile on nest, GA is 2 crockets down and the male is in a roundel.

10.00 The juvenile on the nest box disappears!

10.13 The male flies off South East.

10.15 The male returns and lands on the West middle window.

10.16 GA flies off West and the male follows her.

10.29 GA lands 4 crockets down and the male lands in the nest box.

10.31 A juvenile is spotted on the nave.

11.09 GA leaves the spire.

11.27 The male lands 2 crockets down on the West side. A juvenile lands on the North side and the male leaves the spire.

11.40 A juvenile is 3 crockets down on the North East side.

11.54 The male lands 2 crockets down on the South side.

12.06 The male lands in the nest box. GA returns and lands 2 crockets down.

12.41 The male moves to the North side.

13.00 GA flies off North East.

13.16 GA returns to golden bales with prey and plucks it.

13.22 The male is 2 crockets down from the top.

13.39 The male stoops to the West and then flies North from the spire.

14.00 GA flies around the spire.

14.06 The male lands on the golden bales to eat leftover prey. A juvenile lands on the North plucking window.

14.09 GA lands 2 crockets down.

14.16 The male and a juvenile fly around to the North.

14.20 The male returns to the golden bales.

14.25 The male flies off. Two juveniles fly around the spire chasing one another.

14.55 The male lands on the South plucking window.

15.04 A juvenile lands on the North West pinnacle.

15.06 The male stoops West.

15.26 GA also stoops West and then flies off to the North.

15.43 All 3 juveniles fly around the cathedral practicing stooping.
