Norwich Cathedral Peregrines Activity Log 22/06/2019

Sunshine! What a busy day at the watch point, plenty to see from our resident peregrines. All three juveniles were on top form, flying around with confidence.

9.50 One juvenile is 3 crockets above the nest box.

10.00 GA flies over the spire.

10.10 A juvenile flies off.

10.13 All three juveniles and GA fly over the close to the South.

10.18 One juvenile lands 5 crockets above the nest box.

10.20 Two juveniles fly over the watch point to the South West.

10.21 Adult brings prey in and lands on the golden bales on the North side.

10.25 A juvenile flies in low from the South pursued by a gull. The adult male moves from the plucking window to the East of the spire.

10.30 A juvenile flies in and lands on the spire out of sight.

10.57 The male flies over the close, GA is also in flight.

11.00 YL attempts to land in the nest box with prey and misses but tries again and succeeds! She then eats the prey. GA lands 2 crockets down on the West side.

11.02 Two juveniles fly about and GA joins them.

12.15 A juvenile flies South West and lands on the North side of the spire.

12.20 A juvenile lands 3 crockets below the nest box briefly. An adult lands 3 crockets from the top on the North side.

12.35 A juvenile flies in low from the bell tower and heads South West.

13.47 The male lands in the nest box briefly before heading over the watch point to the South East.

14.02 A juvenile lands 4 crockets up from the middle window.

14.06 An adult lands 2 crockets down on the West side. The juvenile in the nest box moves to the middle West window.

14.10 A juvenile lands 4 crockets down from the plucking window. GA lands 3 crockets down on the East side. All 3 juveniles and GA play fight to the East.

14.22 One juvenile lands on the golden bales briefly, then re-joins GA and the other juveniles in play fighting.

14.27 All 3 juveniles land back on the spire. One lands in the nest box, one lands 4 crockets down from the plucking window and one lands on the North side.

14.50 A juvenile flies off over the watch point and to the East.

15.00 A juvenile lands on the nest box camera.

15.38 GA flies up and lands 2 crockets down on the West side.

15.52 All 3 juveniles fly off to the West play fighting.
