Norwich Cathedral Peregrines Daily Activity Log- 14/04/19

Weather cold winds with some sleet and hail brightening up in the afternoon. A big thank you to Jan Smith for managing the watchpoint today and for this activity log.

We start the day with some great news that 2 chicks have hatched at Bath st Johns Church.

9.41 GA incubating, male on W, 7 crockets down.

10.09 Incubation change over. Male takes over incuabtion and can be heard chatting to the eggs. GA flies rouns briefly and lands 3 crockets down on the W.

10.20  GA lands on golden finials at the top of the spire and feeds on a stashed pigeon.

10.30 Male heard calling on nest as a Buzzard flew overhead.

11.15 GA flew and landed on 4th crocket down on W side of the spire.

12.19 Male turns the eggs and chats to the eggs.

12.37 GA flies off.

13.19 GA lands 2 crockets down on the W

14.50 GA flew off E. A magpie looking for scraps of prey on the spire is then seen off by a stooping Peregrine.

15.52 GA bak on the spire 2 crockets down on W
