The Hawk and Owl Trust has commissioned renowned sculptor, Michael Turner, who specialises in working with stainless steel to create a piece for our new Education Hide.

The hide overlooks a large pond which teems with Dragonflies and many other insect species in the summer months. So, we have christened the new hide the Dragonfly Hide.

We hope the Sculthorpe Dragonfly will land sometime later this month. In the meantime, here’s a picture of one that Michael created recently:
