Scan 20181218 102612Members of Adopt a Box receive, as part of their annual membership packages, Adopt a Box News twice a year – in Spring and in Autumn when they are sent their Adopt a Box certificates.

Adopt a Box News is a full-colour 8-page newsletter, which charts the breeding season for all the species covered by Adopt a Box (Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Little Owl, Kestrel and Peregrine). Each issue also contains fascinating and wide-ranging articles about a whole range of other nest-box related things. Recent issues have looked at design of nest boxes; non-target species that sometimes use the boxes such as Stock Dove, Jackdaw, Mandarin duck and Grey Squirrel; fostering orphan Barn Owl chicks and celebrating 25 years of the scheme among many others!
