Tree planting in progress at Shapwick Moor this through the generous donation of a local member. This member has now donated a considerable sum towards improving the biodiversity of the reserve including trees & drainage gutter cutting in fields. The Alder trees planted this week will return this species to the reserve, sadly the large old specimens that used to be on Shapwick Moor were diseased or growing in the middle of vital ditches. We are truly grateful for this and similar donations.
