Barn Owl blackCongratualtions to our colleagues in the East Midlands Hawk and Owl Trust Group!

They have won a £500 award from Asda in Rushden, Northants towards their conservation work after being nominated for the token scheme last year.

Chairman of the group, Simon Dudhill, said "It came as a great surprise when we were contacted to say that we had won and would receive £500 towards the conservation work we do in the East Midlands. We are most grateful to the people of Rushden, and surrounding area, for donating their tokens for the work we do. The money will be used to construct, supply and install nest boxes around the county for owls and Kestrels, which are vital for the continued success of those breeding birds whose habitats are under threat. Thank you Asda"
