Dippy the Dinosaur

Come and join our team of Dippy volunteers on the Hawk and Owl trailer.

For the duration of the visit, we are very pleased that our exhibition trailer will be located within the grounds of the Cathedral.

The famous 26-metre long (85ft) dinosaur cast – which for many years took centre stage in the Natural History Museum’s Hintze Hall before embarking on the current UK tour - will take up residence in Norwich Cathedral’s Nave from 13 July until 30 October 2021.

The Trust is looking to recruit several volunteers to assist our staff for the period. Volunteers will play an important role to explain to the visitors about the Cathedral Peregrines, Raptors, and the work of the Trust, particularly at Sculthorpe Moor.

You do not need to have previous experience of volunteering; you just need to enjoy meeting people and have a sociable and helpful mindset and be supportive of the Trusts work and what we do.
